WASHINGTON — East Coast-based ethnic production studio DC Cherry Video has announced that it will form a distribution company known as DC Cherry Distribution.
DC Cherry CEO Kevin Kash has been distributing all of DC Cherry’s releases since the company got started in 2005.
Kash said that the move to open a distribution company was a natural progression for him because of the success he’s had in his region.
“I was already self-distributing from day one,” Kash told XBIZ. “There’s not a lot of opportunities on the East Coast and people are starting to realize that we don’t need an outside distributor, we can keep everything in house and make good money because there’s not a lot of overhead.”
The company added production studios F*ing Star, which is helmed by male performer Brandon Longwood, and LB Productions, a Detroit-based studio, to its roster in early Aug.
Last week DC Cherry also inked Stripes Video, from Atlanta, and MILF starlet Stunning Summer’s Feline Flicks studio. All four companies will be releasing titles in the coming month.
Kash told XBIZ that his goal with the new studios is to expand the breadth of his company’s releases to gain a wider audience.
“These companies add more to our repertoire and that’s my mission,” Kash said. “My product is starting to branch out now and I’m starting to see a lot of reorders now.”
The company is hoping to start a BBW line late this year and plans to add more genres next year.
Kash said that while he is moving toward more online platforms and web content, his company is looking toward continued growth in DVD sales and has had a good year so far.
“I’ve heard a lot of people saying that the way the industry is right now you can’t even make money in DVDs, you’ve got to be online doing video-on-demand and things like that,” Kash said. “But this has been my best summer ever for DVD sales — I’m adding companies.”

LOS ANGELS SHOOTS
As many know I came to LA to shoot with some folks I love and adore.
Heck and I and Joclyn Stone threw down a very hot a sexy ass scene soon to be on a new Feline Flicks DVD in the making. Also shot a scene for Joclyn for her soon to be launched website with the help of Dream Factory in the OC. Damn a long but very sexy day. Many sexy little chicas roaming the studio in line shooting.
You all will be thrilled as Joclyn and I share quite alot of box covers. So as two hot blonde MILFS get together and make it happen.......
You wont be dissapointed.

Back Home For a Visit In LoS Angeles
Alright so my trip back home to visit family and friends and get some shooting done for Feline Flicks began with many obticles.And boy do I mean many.
First let me say I have used Air Tran for two seperate trips . Once a few years back. The weather was nasty leaving Boston Logan so I didn't really fault AIR TRAN for my delay in Atlanta. I fault them in their lack of professionalism in handling leaving many of us travelers without hotel vouchers and such. So I again gave their airline a try ....
Well first off my flight leaving Dulles was scheduled at 6am so with plenty of time leaving 3:15 am from Super Shuttle should have got me there on time....HA HA HA!!
Silly me.... I forget why I love private limos...They continued to pick up many travelers all over metropolitian DC area so...
5 fricking minutes late to check my damn bag...yes I had to check it or throw away over 400 in cosmetics and perfume...
I was first told that I would have to be waitlisted for the next flight. BTW may I say the little black girl at the counter took exception with me being with a man of color...
needless to say when I delt with a lovely little hispanic man. NO waitlist...yes he rebooked my ass on the next available flight..
But damn as everyone has endured I was at Dulles until the 1030am flight to connect again in Atlanta. Heres where it begins to really suck.The next oipen flight to Los Angeles is 730n pm....auuuuugh...7 hours in Atlanta airport is almost like a over night stay in Long Beach county jail.... No Long Beach had better food......
I arrive back to my city of Angles to get a text message from my family that the worst train accident in the Nation in over 15 years is less then 5 minutes from my home....
At this point I have to now try to find open streets to get home around freeway closeures. Am I being punished???? Damn... And of course I have a bitchen scene set up with Ethen Hunt and Summer Storm....the only thing that happened Ethen lives up the street from me... but remember that pesky train accident .So with a minor detour to get up the street I get there to find out Summer Storm cant make it...
Oh well all I can say is. Ethen and I laid down a very hot scene.
As We all know porn folks are a little flaky so many shoots scehduled were somewhat rearranged as many talent have not worked much. So...many...many people have no damn AIM test...Shit I know the Summer is always bad but this econemy has realy fucked shit up....
So with the week I have been here three scenes shot and two rescheduled.
But to put a brighter side to everything..
My editor has completed my first DVD....yeah!!!!!! So off to the duplicator and then baby...Then you will sonn have it in your hot little hands....
So for every setback is always another step foward.

Traveling Back To Los Angeles
Ok after many weeks of living here in the DC area. I am headed back to Los Angeles.
